Standards for a welcoming and helpful Quinfall community.
The QF Project is built by and for The Quinfall community. These guidelines help us maintain a positive, helpful, and inclusive environment for all players — from new adventurers to endgame veterans. By using our site, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Be Respectful
Treat every member with courtesy and respect. We're all here because we enjoy The Quinfall. • No personal attacks, harassment, bullying, or targeted negativity • No hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language of any kind • Disagree constructively — attack the argument, not the person • Respect different playstyles, builds, and opinions • Remember there's a real person behind every username
Communicate Constructively
Our forums, comments, and guides are tools for sharing knowledge and helping each other. • Stay on topic — use the appropriate forum category for your post • Write clear titles that describe your question or topic • Search before posting — your question may already be answered • Give credit when sharing someone else's work or discoveries • Avoid excessive use of caps, spam, or low-effort posts
Content Standards
All content submitted to The QF Project (guides, builds, comments, forum posts) should be: • Accurate — verify your information against in-game data when possible • Original — don't copy content from other sites without permission and attribution • Helpful — aim to teach, inform, or spark productive discussion • Clean — no NSFW, graphic, or shocking content • Legal — don't promote exploits, hacks, real-money trading, or ToS violations
Prohibited Activities
The following will result in content removal and possible account action: • Sharing or facilitating real-money trading (RMT) • Promoting game exploits, hacks, or cheats • Posting personal information of other players (doxxing) • Advertising unrelated products, services, or other gaming sites • Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate votes • Impersonating staff, moderators, or other users • Attempting to exploit site vulnerabilities (report them via Bug Report instead)
Reporting Issues
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines: • Use the report button (flag icon) on any piece of content • Select the most appropriate reason category • Add details to help moderators understand the issue • Reports are reviewed within 24 hours • False or malicious reports are themselves a violation For urgent issues or security concerns, email us directly.
Enforcement
Violations are handled proportionally: • First offense: Content removal + warning • Repeated violations: Temporary ban (duration varies by severity) • Severe violations: Permanent ban • Extreme cases (doxxing, threats, illegal activity): Immediate permanent ban All moderation actions are logged. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal via email.
Contributing to the Site
We welcome and value community contributions! • Guides: Apply for Contributor role, then submit guides for review • Bug Reports: Use the bug report button to flag issues • Suggestions: Submit ideas for new features or improvements • Data: Help us verify item stats, skill data, and game mechanics • Translations: Help improve our 7-language support Quality contributions may be recognized with role upgrades and contributor badges.
Game-Specific Etiquette
When discussing The Quinfall gameplay: • Don't share unverified information as fact — label speculation clearly • Respect that balance changes happen — don't flame developers • PvP discussions should stay constructive, not toxic • Build advice should be based on actual testing, not theory alone • Respect NDA content if applicable — don't share leaked or datamined info that violates game terms
Community Roles
Default role. Can view content, create builds, join guilds, and participate in forums.
Can write and submit guides, submit videos, and create forum threads. Earned by demonstrating helpful participation.
Can review and approve content, handle reports, and moderate discussions. Appointed by Admins.
Full site management including user roles, content approval, database editing, and system configuration.
